Recipe of the Week!!

Lemon Tuna Fillet and Grilled Fennel
Preparation: 10 Min
Marinating Time:  6 h
Servings: 6

Ingredients:
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp fennel seeds
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp ground bay
1 cup fresh fennel, cubed
salt and pepper to taste

6 fresh tuna fillets

Preparation
In a Ziploc-type plastic bag, combine tuna fillets, fresh fennel and marinade ingredients. Let marinate in refrigerator for about 6 h. Remove tuna and fennel from marinade. Set barbecue to medium high heat. Grill fennel cubes on skewers or in a basket or specific wok for the barbecue. Grill for about 10 min or until fennel is soft and nicely roasted. Also grill tuna fillets over medium high heat for about  4 min each side, depending on desired cooking. Tuna is delicious when lightly seared but some people prefer it well done.
